Local Students Protest College Board's AP Exam Modifications

By Mark Hubertus |

On April 1, 2020, over 250 Millburn High School students gathered at Taylor Park to protest the College Board’s AP test modifications. The students, chanting ‘Trevor Packer is a slacker,' demanded that AP tests be administered in the originally intended testing centers despite the recent COVID-19 outbreak. When asked if they were at all worried about the disease, Millburn High sophomore Kelly Kapoor replied “Umm, I literally would catch malaria if it meant I could take AP exams the right way. It’s worth it honey.”

We will make sure to keep our readers updated as the story unfolds.

UPDATE: As of April 2, 2020, 223 out of the estimated 250 students who attended the protest have been confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. The CDC has condemned Millburn New Jersey as a town with no common sense and a complete lack of priorities.

Woah there, CDC! Intense! Stay tuned for more updates.
