On the Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Dr. Fauci, an infectious disease expert, commented on the behavior of coronavirus: “I feel really confident that if this virus acts like every other virus that we know, once you get infected, get better, and clear the virus, you’ll have immunity that will protect you against reinfection. So it’s never 100%, but I’d be willing to bet anything that people who recover are really protected against reinfection.”
There you have it. The cure to coronavirus IS coronavirus. In other words, getting infected will grant you complete immunity to the disease.
